Finished Lupin III part 1. Im hoping the 2015 release is a bit longer(and less slapstick) but either way I appreciated watching another oldie. Part 2 should lead into the eighties next

Also finished Ashita No joe part 1. I had my issues with it, it wasnt as technical as I would have liked. Some characters lost all significance, and there was an over reliance on Joe cross counter punch but I still really enjoyed the show. It had the heart to get me pumped when I needed to, and Rikiishi was an excellent foil to the stubborn af Yabuki(grumble). I can see why a lot of people love this. it laid the groundwork for a certain other famous boxing series. Im gonna add HnI to PTW soon as I finish the rest of its predecessor. But only after finishing the 2nd season. JOE! WHICH WAY IS TOMORROW?!

Man anime used to be much longer than 12-26 episodes....

So Parasyte ended today. This, from the beginning of october has been thrilling to watch. I had this pegged as a 10 where I wanted it to stay at....god I really wanted to give it a perfect score. Specially coming off from watching Shiki which failed at presenting two sides of equal morality. Up until halfway through the series Migis case for the survival of his species was an exceptional example of moral dualism. The biggest fault I feel was the length of the show...it really needed more than 24 episodes. At some point you are introduced to a group of antagonists which you assume will be the counterparts to Akatsuki, Aizen and his goons, etc but it never materializes. Rather, they dont get time to develop as a group and you dont really see the big bad til the last 3 episodes. It was disappointing because there were maybe 3 "big" battles as in fighting established villains/enemies and it was a shame since I believe the manga was only 70 odd chapters. The same idea followed the allies of the MC which are relegated to the background shortly after appearing. This was specially apparent since Shinichis battles were mostly dealt with internally, and concerned only him and his ally Migi, the parasyte inside his body fighting out of the desire to live.

Ohhhhh my good the soundtrack was legit as well. The softer notes fit the scenes of tragedy to a tee, it was also strong when it needed to be, complimenting the action with a fast paced beat, and not afraid to use techno when in hot pursuit. Honestly though I use most of the tunes while exercising, it gets you so hype. Overall, The Maxims greatest fault was minimalism but it also served in its favor as a self contained story really developed the two MCs. Their bond over time felt really geunine. Moreover it was just a good story and as a creator if you had to pick a flaw in your creation Id say not expanding enough on your created universe is not the worst to have...the fact that I wanted more out of Parasyte means that what I did see had the potential to warrant that desire.

9 out of 10 (almost 10 ALMOST if it wasnt for the story finishing in such a hurried pace!!)

The newest issue of Young King Ours magazine is announcing that the Drifters manga is being adapted into an anime.

Drifters is an action / fantasy manga with historical elements from Kouta Hirano, the creator of Hellsing. It centers around the character of Shimazu Toyohisa, an actual historical samurai, who in this story finds himself magically transported to an alternate world after perishing in the Battle of Sekigahara. There Toyohisa meets other famous historical figures, such as Nobunaga Oda and Joan of Arc, and engages is climactic battles. The Drifters manga is available in English from Dark Horse Comics.

Details are still scanty. As yet, there has been no announcements as to which animation studios, staff, or cast will be involved in the project. There is also no projected release date currently available.

We'll just have to wait for more information on this one, although I'm excited to see how the Drifters anime turns out. The premise reminds me of Philip José Farmer's Riverworld books.

Hopefully its good bros. I enjoy samurai series

I remember they are from a small village and something to do with a lot of water. Enigmático, silencioso, sereno y solitario pero de corazón noble. En ocasiones pareciera ser frío pero en realidad sólo protege al resto de sí mismo aislándose en profunda soledad.

    Con razon lol
